Basketball Recap: Geraldine Takes a Loss

After flying high against Valley Head last Monday, Geraldine came back down to earth. The Geraldine Bulldogs fell just short of the Fyffe Red Devils by a score of 48-45 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Red Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Geraldine's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Fyffe, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Geraldine will host Collinsville at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fyffe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Geraldine at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
