Soccer Recap: Canyon Has No Trouble Against Ganesha

On FridayGanesha kept up with Canyon until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Everything went the Canyon Comanches' way against the Ganesha Giants as the Canyon Comanches made off with a 4-1 win. Given the Comanches' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Giants are ranked 789th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Canyon hit Ganesha with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Toby Itoyama, Dillon Coppage, Luke Ward, and Landon Sohegian.

Canyon will take on Villa Park in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ganesha, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Damien at 12:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
