Wayzata has gone 3-0 against Como Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wayzata Trojans will head out to take on the Como Park Cougars at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Wayzata's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Wayzata is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Minnesota's top teams: Maple Grove, who was ranked second at the time (Wayzata was ranked fifth). Wayzata fell 72-64 to Maple Grove on Thursday. The Trojans have struggled against the Crimson recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Como Park ended up a good deal behind Two Rivers on Thursday and lost 68-51.

Como Park's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-4. As for Wayzata, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2.

Everything came up roses for Wayzata against Como Park in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, as the team secured an 80-48 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wayzata since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
