For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Richlands and Jacksonville meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Wildcats took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Richlands' defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Jacksonville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Looking ahead, Richlands will be playing in front of their home fans against White Oak at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Jacksonville, they will take on McMichael at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
