Football Recap: Davis Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Davis faced Weber in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Darts were the clear victors by a 41-20 margin over the Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Darts, who have now won six matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Davis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaxton Itaaehau, who rushed for 121 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries, and also picked up 109 receiving yards and one TD. Bode Sparrow also helped out with an impressive 90 receiving yards.

When it comes to explaining why Weber lost, don't look at DYSON PARKER. Despite the final result, he rushed for 145 yards and one touchdown, and also caught one TD. PARKER's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards. CARTER PAYNE was another key player, throwing for 163 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The win was the eighth in a row for Davis, bringing their record up to 9-1. As for Weber, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Davis and Weber will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Darts see the field they'll take on Bingham at 4:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Weber, their break will end when they face Herriman at 4:00 p.m. on the 31st.
