Baseball Game Preview: Redlands Adventist Academy Bulldogs vs. Desert Chapel Eagles

Ryan Powers made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Brady Anderson was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That hit was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Lauer, who scored two runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Redlands Adventist Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive contests.

Redlands Adventist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Desert Chapel, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
