Recap: Motivation Jaguars vs. Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush KNIGHTS
The Motivation Jaguars had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They breezed by Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush at home to the tune of 63-29. That looming 63-29 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Motivation yet this season.
Motivation's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chace White, who scored 12 points along with six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Haleem Butler, who scored 12 points.
Motivation's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Motivation has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Randolph Vo-Tech at 3:15 p.m. on December 21st. Randolph Vo-Tech will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 551st, while Motivation is ranked 207th). Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush is on the road again on Thursday and play against Parkway West at 3:15 p.m. on December 21st. Parkway West comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
