The Mile High Academy Mustangs will face off against the Front Range Baptist Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Tuesday, Mile High Academy ended up a good deal behind STEM School Highlands Ranch and lost 51-35.

Despite the loss, Mile High Academy had strong showings from Rogan Annis, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Noel Koloay, who posted ten points. Annis has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times he's played.
Meanwhile, Front Range Baptist was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 59-54 to Peetz.
Mile High Academy will have to contain Mark Sutton as he made an impact in Front Range Baptist's last game. He dropped a double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Benjamin VanDenBerghe, who earned 14 points along with five boards and four steals.
Even though they lost, Front Range Baptist smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 44 consecutive games dating back to last season.
Mile High Academy's defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Front Range Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Mile High Academy has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 20.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Front Range Baptist struggles in that department as they've been averaging 37 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
