Volleyball Recap: Caprock Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Caprock Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Burlington Cougars on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Taylor Phillips paced Caprock Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Phillips got some help from Tiara Gonzalez Cardenas and her seven assists.

Among those leading the charge was Briar Simpson, who had nine digs and three aces.

Caprock Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Burlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Caprock Academy nor Burlington have any future games scheduled.
