Bartram Trail is 6-1 against Palatka since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bears will head out to take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Bartram Trail will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Bartram Trail not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since February 20th. Everything went their way against Beachside as they made off with an 11-0 victory. With that win, the Bears brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Not much got past Rommeney Patrey, who gave up just two hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Beachside off the board. Patrey has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lucie McDonald, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Hailey Allen, who scored two runs while going 4-for-4.
Bartram Trail always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Palatka didn't have quite enough to beat Melbourne on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Palatka saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haleigh Faulkner, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Bartram Trail's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Palatka, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
Bartram Trail's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. The Bears have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Palatka, though, as they've been averaging only 0.9 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Bartram Trail continue to outrun the ball?
Bartram Trail took their victory against Palatka in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 9-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
