Basketball Recap: 21 Straight Home Wins for Crestview

Crestview waltzed into their match on Saturday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They blew past the Jefferson Wildcats 51-31. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Ellie Kline was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 12 assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 40% in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaci Gregory, who went 5-for-6 on her way to 10 points and three steals.

Crestview pushed their record up to 21-3 with the victory, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.4 points over those games. As for Jefferson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.
