Softball Recap: Seeger Has No Trouble Against Attica

After only one run in their last matchup, Seeger made sure to put some runs up on the board against Attica on Friday. The Patriots blew past the Red Ramblers 11-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Patriots have posted against the Red Ramblers since May 19, 2022.

Audra Pickett was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Spear, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Seeger was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Attica only posted a batting average of .067.

Seeger's win bumped their record up to 10-17. As for Attica, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Seeger will take on Delphi Community at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Attica, they will challenge Riverton Parke at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Red Ramblers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
