Volleyball Recap: Spanish River Sharks vs. Palmer Trinity Falcons
Spanish River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Palmer Trinity Falcons.
Spanish River's offense was headlined by Amelie Fortinho and Eloise Baum, who picked up four kills apiece. They were helped by Luna De Oliveira and Ryland O'Neal, who contributed four assists each. Finally, Fortinho was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.
Palmer Trinity found their leader in sophomore Bianca Blanco, who had 19 assists.
