Baseball Recap: Atlantis Takes a Loss

Atlantis lost against Wareham two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Atlantis took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wareham. Atlantis has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Atlantis saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David DeSouza Jr., who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Atlantis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Wareham, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atlantis will host Cape Cod RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wareham, they will be playing at home against Westport at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
