Softball Recap: East Valley Comes Up Short

East Valley lost against Kamiakin on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The East Valley Red Devils lost 25-2 to the Kamiakin Braves. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leila Cook, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

East Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Kamiakin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be Eastside v. Westside when East Valley and West Valley meet at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kamiakin, they will host Coeur d'Alene at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Kamiakin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 15.8 runs per game this season.
