Preview: Stockbridge Tigers vs. Hebron Christian Lions
The Stockbridge Tigers will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Hebron Christian Lions at 3:30 p.m. on January 15th. Stockbridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Hebron Christian is ranked second).
On Saturday, Stockbridge was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 46-42 to Union Grove.
Despite the loss, Stockbridge got a solid performance out of Carrington Wilson, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Wilson hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kahli Ingram, who scored ten points.
In what's become a running theme this season, Hebron Christian gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by Hart County on the road to the tune of 70-32. The victory was nothing new for Hebron Christian as they're now sitting on five straight.
Stockbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Hebron Christian, their win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2.
