Basketball Recap: Northwood Temple Academy Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

The Northwood Temple Academy Eagles snuck past the Terry Sanford Bulldogs with a 67-62 win on Saturday thanks in part to Vera, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 21 points and six boards. His morning made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Elijah Kindle, who went 5 for 12 en route to 16 points. He has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more points the last ten times he's played.

Terry Sanford's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Ravenell, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds. Jamaal Miller was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.

Northwood Temple Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.5 points per game.
