Basketball Game Preview: Walton-Verona Bearcats vs. Grant County Braves

They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Thoroughbreds 56-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Braves have posted since December 20, 2024.

Walton-Verona's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-7. As for Grant County, their win bumped their record up to 15-11.
