Basketball Recap: Searcy Takes a Loss

Searcy was the 59-38 winner over Cabot when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions were dealt a 65-34 defeat at the hands of the Panthers on Saturday.

Searcy's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Cabot, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Searcy will welcome Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cabot, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marion at 6:40 p.m. on Thursday.
