Softball Recap: Summers County Takes a Loss

Summers County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Liberty Raiders, falling 16-0.

Summers County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Liberty, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Summers County is set to square off against their familiar foe Bluefield at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Liberty will take on rival James Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
