Christopher was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Westmont Warriors, sneaking past 3-2. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Christopher wouldn't go down easily and took Westmont into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-21, 24-26, 15-25, 15-6.

Finley Corona paced Christopher's offense, picking up 17 kills. Corona got some help from Jenny Lee and her 21 assists. Lee was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

The victory got Christopher back to even at 6-6. As for Westmont, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Christopher wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Leigh on the 18th. As for Westmont, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Ann Sobrato on the 18th.
