Recap: Vaux Big Picture vs. Maritime Academy Charter Seadogs        
        
		
            
 Winning is just a little bit easier when  you work as a team to  rack up 15 more assists than your opponent, a fact Vaux Big Picture proved  on Monday. They put the hurt on Maritime Academy Charter with a sharp  52-29 victory.
 Vaux Big Picture got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Cameron Rembert out in front who  scored seven points along with 11  rebounds and nine  assists. Those nine  assists set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kurtis Jackson, who  scored 21 points along with four  steals.
 Despite the  defeat, Maritime Academy Charter saw an underclassman step up:  Zibri Miller  scored eight points.  Jaseer Mann was another key contributor,  scoring four points along with nine  rebounds.
 Vaux Big Picture has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for Maritime Academy Charter, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-9.
 Vaux Big Picture will be playing at home against Philadelphia Electric Charter at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. That game will pit two of the most dominant  players against one another:  Ameen  Conway and  Rembert. As for Maritime Academy Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Frankford at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Hopefully Frankford focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 16 on Saturday.
