Softball Recap: City College Black Knights vs. Academy for College and Career Exploration
City College can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 28-2 margin over Academy for College and Career Exploration. While fans of City College might be used to big wins, the 26-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.
Alaya Corbin was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Corbin was even better at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, City College got a massive performance out of Michaela Madison, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with five runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI.
