Volleyball Recap: Oswego East Comes Up Short

Oswego East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oswego Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-19.

Tyler Vlcek paced Oswego East's offense, picking up seven kills. Vlcek got some help from Max Coleman and his 11 assists.

Oswego East's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Oswego, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-9.

Oswego East has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Joliet West on the 13th. As for Oswego, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Bolingbrook on the 13th.
