Football Recap: Wildorado Takes a Loss

Wildorado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Booker Kiowas and fell 64-8. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 261st, while the Kiowas are ranked 63rd).

Wildorado's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Booker, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Wildorado will host Boys Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be up against the Roughriders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Booker, they will take on White Deer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Kiowas will be up against the Bucks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.89 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
