Basketball Recap: Abbott RVT Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Abbott RVT can now relate to. They fell 64-52 to the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Jets are ranked 47th).

Abbott RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Academy of Aerospace and Engineering, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-3 record.

Abbott RVT does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Academy of Aerospace and Engineering, they will challenge Sheehan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Academy of Aerospace and Engineering will be up against Sheehan's rather soft defense (which has allowed 65.53 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
