Recap: Pitman Panthers vs. Wildwood Warriors
Even though the Pitman Panthers have not done well against the Wildwood Warriors recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Pitman walked away with a 55-46 victory over Wildwood. The victory was nothing new for Pitman as they're now sitting on three straight.
Despite the loss, Wildwood had strong showings from Junior Hans, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds, and Jordan Fusik, who scored 12 points. Hans scored a full 45.7% of Wildwood's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Pitman pushed their record up to 7-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Wildwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Pitman's road trip will continue as they head out to face Rancocas Valley at 10:00 a.m. on January 6th. As for Wildwood, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Hightstown at 1:30 p.m. on January 6th.
