Softball Recap: Mt. Ararat's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mt. Ararat). Everything went their way against the Morse Shipbuilders on Monday as they made off with a 21-11 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Mt. Ararat's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7. As for Morse, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coming up, Mt. Ararat will venture away from home to square off against Yarmouth at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morse, they will host Gardiner at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
