Basketball Recap: Stephens County Comes Up Short

Stephens County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Hart County Bulldogs 51-23. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 456th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 152nd).

Stephens County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Hart County, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stephens County has already played their next game (against Prince Avenue Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hart County has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against East Jackson.
