Apple Valley won the last time they faced Sultana and things went their way on Friday too. The Sun Devils blew past the Sultans 35-7. With the Sun Devils ahead 21-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Brent Lanning had a dynamite game, throwing for 378 yards and three TDs while completing 75.9% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (137.5). Jaden Foster was Lanning's top target, picking up 150 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Apple Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.8 points over those games. As for Sultana, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Apple Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 21-20 victory against North on the 7th. Sultana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
