Basketball Recap: Granby Comes Up Short

If Granby was riding high fresh off their 75-47 takedown of Maury last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Granby Comets came up short against the Manor Mustangs on Friday, falling 54-31. The matchup marked the Comets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Granby's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Manor, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Norcom the next time they take the court. Manor will host Norcom at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while Granby will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
