Dixon is 9-1 against North Boone since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Dukes & Duchesses are taking a road trip to take on the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dixon lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Rock Falls, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's matchup. The Dukes & Duchesses put the hurt on the Rockets with a sharp 14-6 win on Thursday. Considering the Dukes & Duchesses have won five games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, North Boone posted their closest victory since April 8th on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over Rockford Christian. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Royal Lions: they've now won four in a row.

Dixon is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for North Boone, their victory bumped their record up to 20-4.

Dixon took their win against North Boone in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dukes & Duchesses since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
