Volleyball Recap: Delphi Academy Snags Seventh Win in Last Nine Games

Delphi Academy picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Durant Cougars.

Durant's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Bella Bowen, who had six digs and one block, and Taelyn Potter, who had nine digs and four aces. Bowen is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Delphi Academy has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Durant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delphi Academy will head out to square off against Clearwater at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Durant, they will challenge Newsome at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
