Overhills is 8-2 against Terry Sanford since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Overhills Jaguars are taking a road trip to take on the Terry Sanford Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Overhills has given up an average of 13 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Overhills is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They came up short against Triton, falling 19-6.

Meanwhile, Terry Sanford gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last Friday. They were the clear victor by a 14-7 margin over Seventy-First. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their 12-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Addison McPhail was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (three). Ashlyn Enloe was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 4-for-4.

Overhills' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Terry Sanford, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Everything went Overhills' way against Terry Sanford when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Overhills made off with a 19-1 victory. Will Overhills repeat their success, or does Terry Sanford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
