Dayton can  bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Elko Indians  8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Dust Devils have posted  since March 15th.
 Duke Evans spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned  (and four unearned) runs on seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Adrian Acosta, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs and one  RBI. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March.
