Volleyball Recap: Newport Takes a Loss

Newport lost against Carroll County back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1.

Newport's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Carroll County, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newport will take on Holy Cross at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Carroll County, they will square off against Eminence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
