Softball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Red Mountain Mountain Lions, falling 21-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountain Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 last Wednesday.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Red Mountain, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Skyline is set to take on their familiar foe Mesa at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Red Mountain will square off against rival Westwood at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
