Preview: Columbus Cardinals vs. Randolph Ro-Hawks
The Columbus Cardinals will face off against the Randolph Ro-Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus will be strutting in after a win while Randolph will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Columbus made easy work of Palacios and carried off a 51-26 win.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Columbus to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anaya Gardner, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gardner has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Karlee Mathis, who scored nine points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Randolph's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 38-18 walloping at the hands of Cole. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Randolph has scored all season.
Columbus' win bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Randolph, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-15.
