Heartland Christian skates past Varsity Opponent with ease

Recap: Heartland Christian Saints vs. Varsity Opponent
The Heartland Christian Saints stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They really took it to Varsity Opponent for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-13 victory at home. The win was familiar territory for Heartland Christian who now have three in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Landon Clemens, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Clemens, who scored 11 points.
Heartland Christian pushed their record up to 9-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 247-920-2.
Heartland Christian will head out on the road to face off against Suburban Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Varsity Opponent won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Aurora Christian on January 13th.
