Softball Recap: Stanton Takes a Loss

Stanton fell victim to Coahoma and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Coahoma Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buffaloes of the 17-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Stanton is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8-1. As for Coahoma, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Coincidentally, Stanton and Coahoma will both be playing Lamesa the next time they take the field. Stanton will head out to face Lamesa at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Coahoma will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
