For the first time this season, Piper was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Turner Golden Bears finished up their game with a 1-1 draw on Monday. The outcome might've been different if Jose 'Pepe' Ontiveros hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Piper's goal came courtesy of Chri Htoo, who's now up to four this season.

Piper's draw gives them a new season record of 2-3-1. As for Turner, they moved theirs to 1-1-1.

Coming up, Piper is taking a road trip to take on Shawnee Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Turner, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. West's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Turner's offense will have their work cut out for them.
