Volleyball Recap: Langley Saxons vs. Meridian Mustangs

Langley came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged the Meridian Mustangs out 3-2. This was payback for the Saxons, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Langley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 23-25, 28-26, 25-19, 15-12.

Langley found their leader in underclassman William Mo, who had 25 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Osurman, who had 14 digs, three kills, and two aces.

Langley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Meridian, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-10.
