Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Delaware Valley). They walked away with a 35-28 win over the Abington Heights Comets on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.

Logan Olsommer looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 56 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 169 yards while completing 72.7% of his passes. Those 56 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. A healthy portion of that aerial production (105 yards to be exact) went to Trey Newton.

Abington Heights lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nick Bradley, who threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt. Shawn Theodore Jr. also helped out as he racked up 131 receiving yards.

The victory made it two in a row for Delaware Valley and bumps their season record up to 2-4. As for Abington Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Delaware Valley has already played their next contest, a 40-32 win against Long Island Lutheran on the 5th. As for Abington Heights, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 27-21 defeat against Scranton Prep on the 4th.
