Volleyball Recap: Norwich Free Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Hall

It's playoff time, and Norwich Free Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Hall Titans on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since October 8th.

Norwich Free Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 24-26, 25-13, 25-22, 16-14.

Petra Berry paced Norwich Free Academy's offense, picking up 14 kills. Berry got some help from Savannah Guernsey and her 27 assists. Alivia Bialowas controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Norwich Free Academy pushed their record up to 13-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Hall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Coming up, Norwich Free Academy will challenge Warde at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
