Softball Recap: Cajon Takes a Loss

Cajon lost against Beaumont back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cowboys fell 9-4 to the Cougars. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cajon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jessa Martinez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Cajon's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Beaumont, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

Cajon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-2 win against Redlands East Valley on the 10th. As for Beaumont, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Yucaipa on the 10th.
