Volleyball Recap: Frontenac's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Frontenac entered their tilt with Oswego on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Frontenac easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11.

Lucy Anderson paced Frontenac's offense, picking up nine kills. Anderson got some help from Ellie Bloom and her 18 assists. Bloom was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Frontenac's victory bumped their record up to 19-11-1. As for Oswego, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-17.

Frontenac wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Fort Scott on the 11th. As for Oswego, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Maranatha Christian Academy on the 11th.
