Softball Recap: Timberline Comes Up Short

Timberline suffered their biggest loss since March 25, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against the Sumner Spartans, falling 12-2. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Blazers' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Timberline saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Porsha Miller, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Timberline's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Sumner, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Timberline will be playing at home against North Thurston at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blazers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Sumner, they will head out on the road to take on Bethel at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
