Volleyball Recap: Upper Scioto Valley Takes a Loss

Upper Scioto Valley was the 3-0 winner over Temple Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams came up short against the Pioneers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-18.

Ivie Gonzalez paced Upper Scioto Valley's offense, picking up three kills. Gonzalez got some help from Audrey Lawrence and her four assists.

Upper Scioto Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Temple Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.

Upper Scioto Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Elgin on the 2nd. As for Temple Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Arcadia on the 27th.
