Preview: Inglemoor Vikings vs. Redmond Mustangs
Inglemoor has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Redmond Mustangs at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Inglemoor suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Issaquah by a score of 54-52. The matchup was a 29-29 toss-up at halftime, but Inglemoor was outscored by Issaquah in the second.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Reuhen Bhalod, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. Bhalod is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Kieran Clasen was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Redmond pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Issaquah 62-56.
Inglemoor has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Redmond, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Inglemoor came up short against Redmond in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 58-51. Can Inglemoor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
