It was fun while it lasted, but Mound-Westonka's undefeated season came to an end after eight games on Saturday. They were beaten by the Stewartville Tigers 74-46. The game marked the White Hawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mound-Westonka fell to 8-1. As for Stewartville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mound-Westonka will face off against Orono at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stewartville, they will square off against Byron at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Byron is on a three-game streak of home wins, Stewartville a 12-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
